Luni publishing house was founded in 1992 by Matteo Luteriani, with the aim of spreading the ideas that animate Italian thought by making many texts from the Eastern world, often impossible to find, available and accessible to the Italian public. 

While maintaining its Eastern philosophical approach, Luni soon expanded its interests to include pedagogy, medieval studies, contemporary history, literature, and much more, sometimes reviving classic and traditional texts from millennia-old Eastern culture and giving voice to figures of admirable intellectual and spiritual depth.
