Brand Profile
Kellermann publishing house was founded in 1991 by Roberto Da Re Giustiniani, combining a passion for books with his experience in the field of visual arts, to bring stories, experiences, and knowledge to the public in an extremely refined and original graphic form. Every Kellermann book is a project of "editorial art," given the care devoted to every element: text, illustrations, cover, paper, typefaces, and finishes.
Over time, the publishing house has dealt with art and creativity, history (especially the First World War), and has highlighted its local territory, also working in synergy with local organizations (schools, associations), gradually expanding its scope both geographically and thematically.
Currently, there are three main series in the catalogue: Quaderni, Grado Babo, and umano/troppo/umano.
The Quaderni series, dedicated to food, places, and traditional crafts, fuses artisanal work with a unique style: the texts are genuinely handwritten in elegant calligraphy, illustrations are original works created specifically for each title, and each copy is finished by hand (painted edges, applied labels).
Grado Babo is devoted to wine culture. It was created to showcase unique wines that have intersected — and sometimes shaped — history; the books include contributions from historians, writers, oenologists, ampelographers, chefs, academics, and wine enthusiasts. Each volume has historical narration (often enriched with references to literature), as well as wine analysis and an introduction to the landscapes, flavors, and unique characteristics of the places featured. The series also includes titles which, alternating with those specifically focused on wine, explore the world of enology through narrative, delving into its distinctive aspects, personalities, and territories.
umano/troppo/umano is the series of stories combining essay writing and narrative in unusual styles and languages. Themes range from history to ecology and nature, arts, philosophy, biographies, and travel
