Brand Profile
Libri Finti Clandestini is a cosmopolitan collective that works with the aim of creating experimental editorial products using paper scraps from paper mills, typographies, printing laboratories and abandoned warehouses. Born with the creation of books and sketchbooks patiently assembled one by one, hand-bound, stamped, numbered, ready to be written, drawn or to take on any other meaning the owner wants to give them, the production of the collective has therefore focused on books in single copy and small pop-up editions, in which bizarre characters from late 19th / early 20th century imagery move and come to life when the pages are opened.
Therefore, dedicating a lot of time and attention to the research of materials for their reuse, over the years the project has expanded towards other artistic directions in addition to the editorial one, always under the banner of experimentation, investigating fields of photography, typographic printing and urban exploration.
