Coconino Press is one of Italy’s leading publishers of comics graphic novels.
Founded in 2000 in Bologna by Igort and Carlo Barbieri, its name comes from the homonymous county in George Herriman’s KrazyKat.

Among the national authors, Coconino is proudly home to Gipi, Manuele Fior, Davide Reviati, Paolo Bacilieri, Andrea Pazienza, Massimo Mattioli, Guido Buzzelli, Altan and many others. Among the international artists there are Chris Ware, Charles Burns, Daniel Clowes, Seth, Matt Groening, Nick Drnaso, Jason Lutes, Jim Woodring, David Mazzucchelli, James Sturm, Chester Brown, Dash Shaw, Simon Hanselmann, Jason Shiga, Suehiro Maruo, Jiro Taniguchi, Yoshihiro Tatsumi, Kazuo Kamimura, Tadao Tsuge, Jacques Tardi, Manu Larcenet, Bastien Vivès, David B., Christophe Blain, Emmanuel Guibert, Killoffer, Ruppert & Mulot…
